Origin: Ixora 's origin is mainly South India and Sri Lanka

Height: 24-36 inches

Light: Ixora coccinea prefers full/partial sunlight

Water: Being a flowering plant, water is required for Ixora but 2-3 times a week is also sufficient for their needs

Soil: It must be planted in acidic soil because alkaline soil can result in yellow foliage

Common problems: Ixora is susceptible to aphids, a sap sucking insect. You can use insecticidal soap or eco-friendly plant extract to control aphids population. Ixora is also sensitive to frost. Therefore move it to warmer areas when the temperature becomes very cold
